How To: Use the pam-kit-downloader command

Summary

The pam-kit-downloader command can be used to download available PAM upgrade kits that meet the approved upgrade path onto your PAM Server.

This article provides instructions on how to use the command.

Applicable Versions

v8.2 Series: 8.2.17 onwards

v9.0 Series: 9.0.10 onwards

Details

1. Open the PAM Server Console window.
   

   Note

   Alternatively, you could use an SSH connection to the PAM Server.

2. Press ALT + F2. The server login prompt appears.

3. Enter osirium_support at the login prompt and press ENTER.

4. When prompted, enter the password of the osirium_support account and press ENTER.

5. Run the command pam-kit-downloader .
   

6. Enter your chosen selection and press ENTER. Wait whilst the upgrade kit is downloaded.
   

7. Once downloaded, follow the below upgrade steps for the version you are upgrading to:
   Upgrading to v8.2.x
   Upgrading to v9.0.x
